NICW 27
February 2027
to confirmation.
Introduction
NICW ’27 is more than a workshop—it is a shared musical journey through one of Central America’s most captivating countries.
Over sixteen days, singers from different backgrounds and countries come together to rehearse, perform, explore, and build meaningful connections through music. From colonial cities and Pacific coast landscapes to collaborative performances with local musicians, every part of the experience is designed to foster artistic growth, cultural exchange, and genuine community.
Whether you are an experienced chorister or a passionate amateur singer, NICW offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in music, travel, and human connection in a way that few programs can.
musical components
Performances and musical activities will take place across several destinations throughout the journey, with an emphasis on collaborative music-making, artistic growth, and meaningful cultural exchange.
Preparation materials and rehearsal resources will be provided in advance of the project.

The experience
NICW 27 brings together singers and internationally minded travelers for a 16-day musical and cultural retreat across Nicaragua.
Centered in San Juan del Sur, Granada, and León, the project combines choral singing, performance, local collaboration, and thoughtfully paced travel through some of the country’s most remarkable landscapes and communities.
Days move between rehearsals, performances, cafés, conversation, beaches, boat excursions, colonial cities, volcanic scenery, and time to explore independently at a relaxed pace.
